This charming vintage blue teddy bear is a sweet survivor from the late Soviet and early post-Soviet era, dating approximately from the late 1980s to mid-1990s. Made with soft synthetic plush and adorable button-style eyes, this bear has the unmistakable nostalgic character of Eastern European handmade and factory toys from that period.
Unlike earlier rigid Soviet teddy bears, this plush toy was designed to be softer, cozier, and more child-friendly. The simplified shape, rounded ears, fluffy textured fabric, and contrasting white details on the paws, belly, and muzzle are classic features of toys produced in Ukraine and former USSR factories during the transition years of the 1990s.
The black button eyes are especially characteristic of toys from that era, when factories often used available materials creatively during difficult economic times. Despite its age, the teddy remains wonderfully preserved and full of personality.
Perfect for: Vintage toy collectors Nursery or shelf decor Soviet / Eastern European memorabilia collections Retro childhood displays Gift for teddy bear lovers

Size: Height: approx. 20 cm (7.9 inches) This little bear has that warm “loved and kept safe for decades” energy vintage collectors adore — slightly naïve, very cozy, and impossible not to smile at. Ships carefully packed from Ukraine.
