The "Fish" service consists of a decanter with capacity of 700 ml and 6 glasses of 30 ml each.
Carafe height 24cm (9.4 inches), width 15cm (6 inches). The height of the glass is 7.5 cm (3 inches).
The set for alcohol in the shape of fish was invented by the Georgian artist Baramidze Abesalom Davydovich. It is known that the first set was produced in white and gold colors. In 1956-1959, this service was presented at various foreign exhibitions of ceramics and received recognition and popularity.
In 1960, the production of "Rybka" tableware began at factories in Riga and Tbilisi, then at the famous Polonsky Porcelain Factory in Khmelnytskyi Region and at the Horodnytskyi Porcelain Factory in Zhytomyr Region.
The service was named "Carp Family". The legendary service was sold for almost 30 years, during which time it was bought in almost every Soviet home.
