This is a small Venetian carnival mask brought from Venice in the early 2000s. A decorative souvenir piece inspired by traditional Venetian masquerade masks, designed primarily for wall display.
The mask features a ceramic face with delicate hand-painted details, stylized facial markings, and soft pastel tones. Surrounding the face are decorative fan-shaped elements made of cardboard, richly embellished with metallic fabric, lace trim, faux flowers, beads, and feathers in warm gold, pink, red, and yellow hues.
A hanging loop on the back allows for easy wall mounting.
This piece has strong visual impact despite its small size and works beautifully as part of a gallery wall, theatrical décor, or as an accent in an eclectic or vintage-inspired interior.
