Vintage Soviet EC-1840 / EC-1841 computer drive chassis with original power supply components and wiring, dating from 1991.

This is an original vintage hardware assembly from the era of the EC-1840 / EC-1841 Soviet personal computers, a historically interesting family of 16-bit computers compatible with the IBM PC/XT concept. The EC-1840 was produced in Minsk and used 5.25-inch floppy disk drives as its storage system.

The item offered here is not a complete computer. It is the metal chassis/drive-unit enclosure with original internal components remaining inside.

Please note: the floppy disk drives are not included. The unit is being sold as a vintage computer hardware assembly / restoration or collector's piece.

Condition
Vintage used condition with visible age-related wear, dust, oxidation and marks to the metal surfaces.

The electronics have not been tested, so I cannot guarantee that the power supply or other electrical components are operational.
