Vintage Soviet Glass Beer Mug, 500 ml Heavy Geometric Tankard, USSR Retro Barware, 1970s–1980s

A classic vintage Soviet glass beer mug with a bold geometric design, substantial clear glass and a sturdy integrated handle. Its sculptural shape features two bands of raised rectangular panels, a broad smooth rim and a thick, faceted base that gives the mug a solid, substantial appearance.

Made for practical everyday use, mugs of this style were characteristic of Soviet-era household and public dining glassware. They were commonly associated with beer halls, cafés and traditional table settings, and similar mugs were also used for serving kvass and other cold drinks.

With its chunky proportions and architectural relief pattern, this mug is both functional-looking vintage barware and an appealing collectible from the late Soviet period.
