Vintage Truskavets Mineral Water Drinking Vessel – Ukrainian Folk Ceramic Souvenir

A beautiful and unusual piece of vintage Ukrainian ceramic folk art connected with Truskavets, one of Ukraine's historic mineral-water resort towns.

This distinctive vessel was designed in the traditional form of a mineral water drinking cup, sometimes known in Ukrainian as a kumanets or buvetnytsia. Its elongated decorative spout was especially convenient for drinking mineral water directly from a spring or resort drinking fountain.

The front is richly decorated with a charming relief scene of a traditional Ukrainian countryside house, wooden fence, flowers, rustic architectural details and ornamental elements. The relief is highlighted by warm brown and beige tones, giving the piece a beautifully aged folk-art appearance.

The word “Truskavets” is incorporated into the decoration, making this an especially interesting souvenir for collectors of Ukrainian ceramics, travel memorabilia and vintage resort objects.

The ceramic is well preserved, with the relief decoration and glaze remaining clear and attractive. There are minor signs of age and previous handling consistent with a vintage ceramic souvenir.
